I envied so much Mr. Bak for smoking in the classroom! He would sometimes join someone's class and sit in the back. I would just hear the metallic click of his ashtray and even before the real sensation, my nostrils would fill in a Pavlovian way with the aromatic scent of cigarette smoke. On such occasions I said to myself that a privilege like that is a good incentive to become an important scholar. I hope I am on the good track and I thank Janos for his personal example!
