I would like to congratulate you on your 80th birthday and wish you all the very-very best. May I using this occasion thank you for inspiring us, your students! Being a great professional and a real gentleman, you did not only taught us various academic subjects, but also demonstrated what does it mean to be a teacher, who is able to see and appreciate every tiny effort of a student even when others don't see it. I think that if we, your former students, are able to perform an independent research that might be of an interest to the wider international scholarly community, this is mainly thanks to the structure of the Department’s program, elaborated under your guidance. I personally would like to express my deepest gratitude for your support and assistance I always felt while being a student at the CEU. I remember quite vividly that first encouragement I received at the beginning of my MA year was from you, at the class where you taught us how to work on manuscripts. This was the most crucial and inspiring moment for my carrier. Please, accept my grateful acknowledgements!!!
